Get up close and personal with one of Rome’s loveliest green spaces on a bike tour of the Villa Borghese.
Make your way to the gardens where there's much to see, near the famous Spanish steps and outside the Aurelian ancient Roman wall still surviving.
Visiting Villa Borghese, 80 hectares of gardens and buildings, is a must: a quiet park sheltered from the lively streets of the city of Rome where your guide will take you through passing by the very elegant Galleria Borghese (a national museum which houses an incredibly rich collection of paintings, statues and antiquities of the eponymous family), beautiful fountains and the very romantic artificial lake with its temple.
Crossing the monumental Piazza di Siena and riding your bike along beautiful paths lined with the so typical umbrella pines and the oak trees you'll be eventually reach the nearby Coppedè district, famed for its striking architecture.
