The maritozzo is a classic roman sweet pastry, traditionally packed full of whipped cream.

You can find the best Maritozzo in Trastevere at the Il Maritozzaro in via Ettore Rolli 50

Maritozzo is very challenging to eat, so my tip is to split it with a friend, otherwise if you don't care about sizes, take a maritozzo just for you

In this bar you can also taste other specilities like Pasticciotto, that is a typical pastry from South of Italy.

Sant’Eustachio is one of the symbolic cafes of Rome, a breakfast destination for both Romans and tourists.

The coffee is fair trade, and is roasted with wood in Italy as it once was: this quality guarantees the cup a low caffeine content compared to commercial options.

Here you can taste the Gran Caffè (2.90 euros) or the Gran Cappuccino (2.90), which appear as two cups with a perfectly made cream on top.

Important note: the coffee is served already sweetened, so if you drink it bitter it must be specified first.

Sant’Eustachio The Coffee. Piazza Sant’Eustachio 82, Rome.

Since 1936, Roman tradition and cuisine have been the pillars of this popular restaurant’s success, so much so that booking in advance is highly recommended, especially at weekends.

Enjoy timeless traditional dishes such as tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta with cheese and black pepper) in this welcoming restaurant which has managed to preserve its family atmosphere while at the same time creating a modern, contemporary style.

Felice is located in via Mastrogiorgio 29 in Testaccio.

We suggest you to book a table in advance, because it is very busy.
