RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
IMPORTANT Rome by Vespa will not refund any deposit or payment received if costumers don't satisfy following requirements on the vespa tour day
Scooter driving experience: If it is your first experience with a scooter, it's better to don't try, because it is unsafe for your life and the lifes of other people.
18 years old minimal
Passport or ID license preferably with legal home address
Valid national driving licence enabling to drive the category of the vehicle being driven.EURO-EFTA-UK CITIZENS
If your national driving licence was issued by an EU/EFTA-member state is valid in Italy.
EXTRA EU CITIZENS
VIENNA CONVETION ON ROAD TRAFFIC 1968 STATE PARTECIPANT
If your Country has ratified Vienna Convention on Road Traffic 1968, your driving license is valid in Italy (CHECK COUNTRY LIST)
Italy signed the Vienna convention and have to recognize other partecipants driving license
Upon ART. 41 Paragrafer 2. Contracting Parties shall recognize: Driving permits (b) Any domestic permit conforming to the provisions of Annex 6 of Wien Convention. Please check if your driving license is conforme with Annex 6

OTHER COUNTRIES WITHOUT CONVENTION WITH ITALY
If your national driving license was issued by an extra European countries, it must be accompanied either by an international driving permit, to be obtained prior to departure, or by a certified translation (traduzione giurata) into Italian
Credit card (for the security deposit of 500 euros).Our systems release the security deposit right after the end of the rental agreement. However, it may happen that the blocked amount doesn't come immediately available to the customer. Usually the interbank circuits and the companies managing credit cards require technical times, which can keep the amount blocked for a few days, and in some cases even for a few weeks.
CANCELLATION POLICYYou can cancel up to 48 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours before the tour’s start time.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
Do you offer an insurance for the scooter?
We offer only Third party insurance.
What is the Third party insurance?
Third party insurance: in the event the scooter's driver causes damage to someone else’s property or injure them while driving, that person will receive appropriate compensation.
Third party insurance also provides cover for your passenger.
However, anything that happens to your scooter, or injuries to you, are not covered by third party insurance.
Children are accepted in the vespa tour?
Accepted as long as they are tall enough to touch the footpeg of the Vespa with their feet.
Their parents are responsible for them.
